My kids loved this experiment. I have a five year old home schooler and an eleven year old who really got a kick out of making slime. There was enough for each of them to make a container of icky ooze. The kit also came with a fun activity booklet and adventure guide. The kids were fascinated to learn about the different types of slime molds and Non-Newtonian fluids. They then spent the rest of the afternoon playing with their slime. This was definitely a successful science experiment. I love that my five year old was able to do her own experiment along side my eleven year old and they were equally enthralled with it. This is a great science experiment and would make a great addition to a unit on molds.
As a blogger companies sometimes provide me with samples of their products, and in this case, Discover with Dr. Cool provided me with their science kit to test and review and to give my honest opinion of the results
