Walmart Beauty Box - Fall 2016

 Every Quarter Walmart puts out a beauty box with different samples for consumers to try. The Box is free, with a five dollar shipping fee.It's a bit of a craps shoot on whether or not it's going to be any good but at five dollars a quarter it's a fun, inexpensive surprise. I've had a subscription for almost two years now and had some boxes that I've loved and some that I hated. Here's what this quarter's box had to offer. I received the Classic edition.

 These are available in a couple different sizes through retail, I got the 50 pack and feel that they work great at exfoliating my face. They retail for around three or four dollars so they are a great item to find in my box and accounts for most of the value in the box.

Seems to retail for about $1.30 for the sample size from what I could find. This is going to be useful to me once the snow and wind kicks in because I traditionally become chapped I'm going to try and head that off at the pass this year and hopefully but it's nice to have lotions around when I need them.

The travel size retails for about $1.25 and I absolutely love the scent. If I ever run out of my samples I will definitely be picking up a full size of this one.

Directions
Squeeze body wash onto a wet pouf or washcloth and work into a rich, creamy lather.
A nice, light scent this body wash is quite pleasant and very moisturizing.  The retail is looking like it's about 1.50. This is going in my emergency preparedness pack. Who says you can't feel pretty even during an emergency?

A nice mineral bath treat. The combination of lavender, chamomile and menthol scents smells a lot better than I had originally anticipated and made for a great, relaxing soak. This packet retails at Wal-mart for .98 cents.

This is a nice shower gel with a bit of a woodsy scent. This is a great sample for my  husband. While I wouldn't call it a masculine scent I will say that it is a body wash that the guys in my family wouldn't mind using and I may end up picking up a bottle in an attempt to draw them away from their Axe obsession (You'd think there wasn't any other male body washes out there.)  The retail of this sample seems to be about $1.50

This sample was a miss for me. The only person I know with Eczema live fifteen hundred miles away so I don't even have someone to give it to. The sample size rings in at about $1.00 and I will be donating mine to the local food pantry as I'm sure that there is someone in my area that will find it useful.

 Dry, sensitive skin fragrance free. Cetaphil, moisturizing cream was formulated specifically for chronic dry, sensitive skin. Contains a superior system of extra-strength emollients and humectants, clinically proven to bind water to the skin and prevent moisture loss. 
Another sample aimed at sufferers of  eczema and psoriasis, though it does seem to be a decent moisturizing cream though I would have to go with the Vaseline sample in this pack as my favorite on that end. I will probably be donating this sample as well. I'd put the sample size at about $1.00 retail.

This skin cleanser seems to get my skin clean but I really liked the exfoliating rounds better and I only got to clean my face with it once so I wasn't able to get a very good base view of it's effectiveness. This sample was on a card and in my eyes rates as a foil packet sample that doesn't really have a retail value.



Overall an Okay beauty box. While this isn't my favorite box from Walmart it isn't the worse either. The full size cleansing rounds are the highlight of the box and while I like them I usually look forward to some kind of make up sample being included in my box and that was sadly lacking this quarter.
