The latest installment from the Ripley's Believe It or Not! Is everything I've come to expect from Ripley's and more. I was pleasantly surprised to find Shatter your Senses in my mailbox with a nice letter asking me to take a look and to let my readers know what I think of it. So here it is: I love it. I started reading Ripley's books when I was young and I love that I can share it with my young ones now and it's still new, fresh and interesting. I love that it is interesting and captivating to all ages. The pictures really drew my seven year old in, then she had my 14 year old read her the stories and captions  she found interesting. They have spent hours over the past few weeks reading this book and bonding with each other.

How did you think of WYM?

Have you seen the movie 'The Boss' starring Melissa McCarthy? There’s a scene where she’s getting her teeth whitened, wearing the infamous mouthpiece and struggling to speak. From this one scene, the idea for our game was born. 

Got all that/ Now for my opinion. This game is a lot of fun. There are tons of throw down cards and lots of fun phrases to try and say. I truly believe that you can play this game hundreds of times and it will still be fun and different every time. 

I also love that there are expansions! How great is that? Now for the down side, that really isn't all that bad. I make sure to wash all of the pieces that were used before putting the game away so that it stays clean and we stay healthy. Also the mouth pieces might cause problems for the younger players which is why the game is for ages 8 and up but if someone has a small mouth it may be a tight fit. 

I also love that most of the pieces are easily replaceable if they break or wear out. Straws and party horns are easy to find even if they aren't as good a quality as comes with the original box. I also like that you can order a new set of mouth pieces if needed.

My daughter absolutely loves to get mail. Every time I go and check the mail she wants to know if she got anything. Most of the time she is disappointed as seven year olds don't tend to get a lot of mail. Not today though! today she got mail and not just any mail, the best kind of mail!  We love the Official Nice list Certificate. She keeps telling everyone she is on the nice list and can prove it!

 I think the photo of Rudolf was her favorite. She loves it, "He's so Cute!" She's always been a big animal lover.

 Also included in the package is a personalized Video and phone call from Santa. I love that it was personalized but was sad to see that We could either have her name pronounced correctly or spelled correctly. I chose pronounced correctly but I didn't realize that they were going to paste her misspelled name all over the video. So while the video is super cute I'm still debating on whether to show it to her or not since she was so excited that her name was spelled correctly in the letter from Santa.

I scheduled her call from Santa on Christmas Eve so that she will hopefully go to sleep at a decent time. The didn't have her name pronunciation available for the phone call so I went with Sweetie. Her name will be spelled correctly though. The phone call is done through an App that was easy to set up and the directions were easy to follow. I'm looking forward to her delighted face when she gets the call.
